Reducing Risk

Consultant pharmacist guidance

Skilled in identifying areas of concern, our consultant pharmacist is an excellent resource when it comes to mitigating risk. They’ll work with you to regularly to review every resident’s medication chart, which can reveal possibly dangerous medication interactions and duplications. They also recommend alternative medications or formulations that may increase the effectiveness of a resident’s medication regimen and optimize therapeutic outcomes based on best practices.

Clinical Intervention Center (CIC)

Our Clinical Intervention Centers (CIC) will provide you and your staff with experienced formulary clinicians to help manage clinical rejections and reduce non-covered charges to reduce the number of therapy interruptions due to insurance rejections. In the last 5 years the CIC have sent over 1,550,000 Covered Alternative recommendations to prescribers and have completed over 800,000 Prior Authorizations. Our CICs help ensure proper therapy and appropriate reimbursement while giving your staff more time to devote to caring for residents.
